Check to see if we’re on one of the provided platforms.

  • windows (bool) – When True, check if running on Windows.

  • linux (bool) – When True, check if running on Linux.

  • darwin (bool) – When True, check if running on Darwin.

  • sunos (bool) – When True, check if running on SunOS.

  • smartos (bool) – When True, check if running on SmartOS.
